Popular gold scam: The Expired Gold 🚨 From the engagement on my posts, it's clear that real-life tales from the gold trading industry capture everyone's interest far more than anything else. So, I thought many of you would be intrigued (and fellow professionals will share a laugh with me) by the prevalent scam known as "expired gold." Let me be clear - don't fall for this trickery!I've received numerous offers like this and heard tales of how newcomers took them seriously, only to lose their hard-earned money. The pitch usually goes like this - there are 300/500/1000 kg or even several tons of "expired" gold available for purchase at a discount of 8-15% off the LBMA price. Supposedly, this gold belongs to a major bank/billionaire/Japanese Emperor (yes, seriously - I was persistently offered this and assured that it was verified information, claiming it's the Emperor's gold - the tales they come up with!), but it's "expired" gold, meaning it's over 5 years old, and therefore, the owner is selling it at a discount because "serious people don't hold expired goods," and they'll buy "new" gold instead. 😂 And if a gold owner decides to change the serial number on the bar or add a new year engraving (some bars feature both), they can easily melt the gold and obtain "new" bars within a day, paying the refinery a mere 0.05% (or perhaps even less). Obviously, there's no reason to offer a discount on gold just because it's "expired"; this deal is a scam.If you find yourself dazzled by offers of big profits in gold trading, start by seeking advice from professionals.
