Sun, June 16, 2pm - The Pittsfield Players present "Evening of One Acts" at the Scenic Theatre, 6 Depot St. Get ready for the most exciting theatrical event of the season: ​ We're bringing you an unforgettable evening filled with sensational performances. Our talented Directors and Actors are ready to take the stage and wow you with their creative vision. From heartwarming stories to gripping dramas, our "Evening of One Acts" promises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Join us as we celebrate the power of storytelling, imagination, and the vibrant spirit of our local theater community. The F. B Argue Recreation Area (aka Town Beach) will open for the season. Hours will be Mon - Fri, 12-5pm. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Daily Admission is $1/person (non-resident- $1.50/person) and Family Season pass may be purchased for $50. Please NOTE - there will be NO Lifeguards on duty. There will be 2 sessions of Swimming Lessons - Session 1 is June 24 - July 5 and Session 2 is July 29 - Aug. 9. Cost is $15/child per session (non-resident is $30/child) Sign up information will be available at the F.B. Argue Rec Area.

Mon, June 17, 5:30pm - Community Supper at the First Congregational Church. ALL are welcome, Cost is a Donation. Come enjoy a delicious meal and visit with some new friends. It's a fun social time!

Tues, June 18 - The Drake Field Summer Recreation Program will be starting on June 18 and will run until July 26. Hours are from 8am until 12pm, Monday - Friday, unless there is a field trip. The program is free to Pittsfield children in grades 1-8, with a small charge for some field trips. Breakfast and lunch are provided free for those who want it. It’s time to nominate a person for Pittsfield’s Citizen of the Year! Many people deserve to be honored for their actions and their commitment to Pittsfield. Their activities benefit our town. However, only one can be selected for 2024. Please submit (via mail) your nomination with a short note explaining why you think this person should be honored as Citizen of the Year for 2024. Nominations can be sent to Citizen of the Year, P.O. Box 173, Pittsfield, NH 03263. Nominations should be received by Friday, June 21

Sat., June 29- 10am- 12pm and Sun, June 30- 1-3pm -The Pittsfield Players are very excited to hold their SECOND Summer Theater Camp for the children of Pittsfield and surrounding communities. It's open to children ages 9-18 and this year we will be performing "The Big Bad Musical," directed by Bea Douglas. Auditions/Sign ups are Saturday, June 29th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and Sunday, June 30th from 1:00 to 3:00 right at The Scenic Theater in Pittsfield, NH! 2024 Varsity Girls Summer Soccer - All sessions will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Arrive 15 minutes early to put your gear on and review the day's training schedule. June 25th and 27th, July 9th - July 30th, August 1st - August 15th. The regular season to begin shortly after August 15th.

Dowboro Farm, 615 Dowboro Rd is open for the season - Thurs - Sat, 9:30am - 6pm and Sun 10:30-4pm. The 4-H Young Entrepreneurs have stocked up the store- please come and check it out!

PYW has changed to their Summer Hours! PYW is openfor Drop In hours from 2-6pm on Mon, Tues, and Wed. Thurs is TRIP DAY - Permission slips are required for trips and can be picked up at PYW during drop in hours. Fri - PYW is Closed. Senior Center Schedule- Monday & Thursdays – 8-2pm and Wednesdays 7:30am –1:00pm. Activities include: Senior Community Lunch – M & TH at 12pm; Bingo M & TH – 10-11:45am; Cribbage & Games – W-10-12pm; Walking at the Center- M, W, TH- 8am-1pm; Sweatin to the Oldies- M & W at 9am and Chair Yoga- TH at 9am. Every other Wednesday the center will be serving breakfast at 9:30am then bingo will follow from 10:00-11:45am. Our "Breakfast Bingo" datewill be June 19. Cribbage players are still welcome. We have plenty of room for both groups to be going on at the same time. At the Senior Center- Movie - We will be watching a movie every other Wednesday. The date is June 26. You will get to pick the movie from five different choices. Whoever shows up will vote on the movie for the day. During the movie we will snack on popcorn and have lunch. The movie starts at 10:00am. Cribbage and card players welcome during the movie at the back tables.

Join us every Saturday for BINGO hosted by Pittsfield Youth Baseball/Softball Association Bingo. They have a great menu of food items along with their games and it all benefits the children of Pittsfield for their baseball/softball program. Doors open at 3:30pm and bingo starts at 6 pm at Circle 9 Ranch in Epsom. ***NOTE NEW LOCATION AND TIMES ***

The Pittsfield Historical Society continues to raise funds for thecommemorative garden on the museum grounds. The“BUY-A-BRICK” project affords an opportunity for people to buy a brick to honor yourself, loved ones past or present or whomever you wish to remember. The bricks cost$100 each and may be engraved with 3 lines of 18 characters each for a 4”x8” brick. Stop by at the museum, 4 Oak St, to see the current garden and the surrounding grounds. The beautiful hanging flower baskets are set to go up around town any day now… We have been graciously awarded a Sanderson Grant, which covers most of our funds however we would still love donations to keep this effort alive!
